Golden Farmers Market
The 2021 Golden Farmers Market is BACK! We offer the market to the Golden community Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m from June 5 - October 2. The Golden Farmers Market is located in the Golden Public Library, West Parking Lot at 1019-10th Street in Golden.
Volunteers are an integral part of our market’s success and are always welcome to help!
The following shifts are available every Saturday for 18 weeks, from the first Saturday in June to the first Saturday in October:
6:30AM – 8AM Market Set-Up
Assist market manager & vendors with set-up. All physical labor with mostly heavy lifting: set-up tents, set out barricades and road/traffic signs, load equipment, move tables, general event set-up.
8AM – 10:30AM Market Ambassador
Assist market manager, vendors and customers as needed. Direct traffic and customer flow. Give breaks to vendors, put up signage, keep handwash/sanitizer stations stocked, sanitize surfaces, trash control, etc.
10:30AM – 1PM Market Ambassador
Assist market manager, vendors and customers as needed. Direct traffic and customer flow. Give breaks to vendors, put up signage, keep handwash/sanitizer stations stocked, sanitize surfaces, trash control, etc.
12:45PM – 2:15PM Market Break-Down
Assist market manager and vendors with tear down — all physical labor with mostly heavy lifting: Tear down tents, gather barricades and road/traffic signs, load equipment, move tables, tear down handwashing/sanitizing stations, etc.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 16+, Minimum Age:16+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
